The story behind the design
Aurora: the timeless elegance of Art Deco on your walls
Drawn from the golden age of Art Deco, the Aurora wallpaper by Jannelli & Volpi carries you into the refined, audacious atmosphere of 1925 to 1930. Those years produced some of the greatest architectural masterpieces of the century, among them New York's Chrysler Building — a symbol of modernity, luxury and invention.
With its sophisticated graphic lines, its geometric rhythms and its architectural poise, Aurora captures the spirit of the great cities of the late Belle Époque and the Roaring Twenties. Its drawing calls up the splendour of private mansions, transatlantic liners and the skyscrapers that marked the history of design.
Its exceptional 100 cm width, over a 10-metre length, strengthens the impact of the pattern while cutting down the number of joins. The result is a more fluid, more spectacular scheme, particularly suited to high-end residential and hotel projects.
Aurora is the choice for an interior meant to feel prestigious, timeless and frankly decorative. In a drawing room, a study, a principal suite or a reception space, it brings a sophistication drawn from the finest Art Deco work in the world.
Choosing Aurora means bringing home the glamour of New York, the architectural nerve of the 1930s and the timeless elegance of Art Deco.
