A decorator's advice
The cloth that filters the light
A thick, neutral jacquard lets a soft light through without ever dazzling. It is the first decision to make — before even the colour of the walls.
Mixing the scale of patterns
A floral print, a fine stripe, a plain: three different scales keep a room from looking like a catalogue. The decorator's rule — never two patterns of the same size side by side.
One point of warm light, never in the middle
A lamp in a corner gives a room a depth the ceiling light alone will never provide. It is often the one detail that changes everything.
How a made-to-measure order works
1. You choose your fabric
From our European collections. We can send you a sample so you can judge the cloth and the colour before going further — we strongly recommend it.
2. We draw up the specification
Your dimensions and constraints are written down. This is the point at which the lead time is confirmed to you in writing.
3. You sign the proof
A making-up sheet is posted to you with an actual sample of the fabric. Nothing starts without your signature.
4. Making up and delivery
Made by hand, piece by piece. Every product comes with its full care sheet, also downloadable as a PDF.

For made-to-measure products, only making-up faults are put right: a flaw in the cloth, or dimensions that do not match the order sheet.
To avoid any misunderstanding, a making-up sheet is posted to you as a proof, together with an actual sample of the fabric. Your signature is required before anything goes into production.
